All requests are welcome, and I will always do my best to bring your imagination and vision to life. For me, it’s never just about balloons or decorations, it’s about creating experiences that people will cherish and remember long after the celebration has ended.

Our Story

What began as a simple balloon arch for Monster Kidz quickly grew into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Starting small, I worked from my spare bedroom at home, creating designs with nothing more than passion and a vision. As word spread and demand grew, I moved into an outbuilding at my grandparents house, where Make It Pop truly began to take shape.

Along the way, I completed a balloon course that covered the basics and gave me a strong foundation. From there, everything else has been self-taught—through trial, creativity, and a genuine love for learning and pushing myself to do more. Every new request became an opportunity to explore fresh ideas and challenge my skills, helping me grow both as an artist and as a business owner.

Being a family run business, I work closely with Monster Kidz, Bramley and Monster Kidz Beeston, building strong connections and sharing in the joy of every event we’re part of.

Today, that little dream has blossomed into my very own shop. A place where creativity, celebration, and community come together. Looking ahead, I’m excited to expand into even more party essentials so I can continue helping people celebrate life’s milestones in the most memorable way.

Hi, I’m Ellie, the heart behind Make It Pop.

My love for creating unforgettable celebrations started when I was a teenager. I used to pour my heart into planning my own birthday parties, making sure every detail felt special and unique. What I loved most was bringing all my friends and family together, seeing the joy on their faces, and knowing that something I created helped make those memories so meaningful.

That passion for celebrating others quickly grew beyond just my own events. I realised how much happiness balloons, decor, and thoughtful touches to personalised gifts could bring to people’s lives. What started as a small idea soon became a dream I couldn’t let go of. I began creating balloon designs wherever I could, balancing it alongside everyday life, and slowly watched my little "side project" grow into something much bigger.

Now, at just 21 years old, I’m proud to open my very own shop and created a workspace dedicated entirely to joy, creativity, and community. Every day, I feel so grateful to turn my passion into my profession and to help others celebrate the milestones that matter most.
